About MD Electrical Construction
Mike started his electrical career in 2009 obtaining a MA journeyman electrical license in 2014. He continued schooling to obtain MA, CT, ME, and NH masters licenses while working for an industrial electrical contracting company. He spent a small duration of time working for the outside wireman local IBEW preforming distribution/ transmission linework. Mike brought that experience over to the renewable energy sector and progressed to a lead position running both medium voltage and low voltage distribution on many PV installations. He is also certified in Generac Products as an approved contractor, and in Charge Point+ Electric Battery Charging Systems.
Mike is passionate about providing the highest quality electrical service to residential, commercial, and industrial clients.
I always had a vision of operating my own company and doing things the way I liked them to be done. I take great pride in producing quality installations in the most efficient manner possible. MD Electrical Construction was formed in 2021 and has grown rapidly in a small amount of time. We’re currently operating all over New England performing everything from off road utility pole setting to electric vehicle (EV) charger installations.

Utility Construction & Excavation
MD Electrical can handle all stages, designing and building efficient electrical systems for commercial and industrial buildings. Renewable Energy Systems
We can install and maintain any renewable energy systems (solar, wind, battery). Our team has extensive experience running both medium voltage and low voltage distribution on many PV installations. After installation, we recommend regular inspection of your system to ensure optimal longevity and performance.
Underground Distribution Power Lines
Underground distribution is all about the quality of the installation. MD Electrical offers trenching, conduit install, splicing and VLF testing as a turn key job offering. Mike is certified in splicing MV elbows, junctions and fittings. He’s completed thousands of trouble-free terminations.

Franklin County Fairgrounds
utility pole swapout
We completed 41 utility pole swap outs (demo, remove, replace) as part of a $160,000 electrical infrastructure grant. This improvement project was to replace all of our telephone poles, install new circuitry, and upgrade the costly and obsolete exterior lights to LEDs. This project was completed in a 2 week time frame.

4.0 megawatt 15KV Solar Field MV interconnection
Team was responsible for setting (4) 45′ Class 2 utility poles, installing overhead conductors and equipment along with pulling a short run of 4/0 underground primary 15KV cable. We also provided/installed underground terminations for a 3750KVA pad mounted transformers ( March 2021) This site was particularly steep and required the use of a tracked digger derrick.
West Paris ME
Racking installation
MD Electrical Constrtruction constructed 3.0 megawatts (11.6 acres) of racking for a solar project. This project included unloading trucks, pre-fabrication, distribution materials in the field to building and Quality control in less than 10 days. We handled everything from building on top of TerraSmart screw foundations all the way up to panel install.
